uptain examines the behavior of any visitor and recognizes (e.g. based on tab changes or app switching, scrolling movements, use of back button or cursor movements) if a user is about to exit the page – without completing a purchase.
Just before the user exits the page, a dialogue window will be displayed that is suitable for the current situation of the user and provides assistance in the best way possible. Depending on the reason why the user is about to leave, the uptain-Algorithm selects suitable messages such as telephone numbers, WhatsApp messages, emails or for certain price-sensitive customers voucher codes for specific shopping cart values.
uptain-Mails – Get Customers back using emails
With uptain-mails, you can automatically send personalized service emails to customers who have put something into the shopping cart but could not successfully complete the purchase (lost customer). Within the EU you will need to have a suitable opt-in or § 7 Abs. 3 UWG applies.
With our technology, we automatically segment all lost customers according to cancellation reason as well as behavioral profile and optimize each individual e-mail according to time, address, content, etc.

uptain identifies that a customer put something into the shopping cart – but did not complete the purchase within a defined time frame.
When the waiting time expired, uptain will send an email to that customer to help in the best way possible. In uptain’s backend the uptain-Algorithm calculates based on the behavior of that user what the reason for the abandonment was and sends a suitable service email.

The integration of uptain is done in three easy steps even without IT knowledge.
